Skylar Moorman

Hello World,
Today, I would like to introduce you to The Moormans:

Sister Moorman (lady in wheelchair) has been faithful (active) for years. And she's absolutely fantastic. I absolutely love her. She asked us to come over and talk to her family about coming to church and baptism. Lo and behold, her daughter Skyler was baptized on Saturday and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints yesterday. Her father was able to baptize her and the whole family has been reactivated. What a happy day it was. There is nothing that even comes close to a family becoming united in the Gospel. They have a goal for the temple, and when they achieve that goal, I will be there to see these people enter into the new and everlasting covenant. I am so happy for them.\

Also this week I went on exchanges with one of my Zone Leaders who looks like a blonde Harry Potter:

Also, here's the exchange picture from the District Leader Exchange. These are basically all the brothers I never had:

Now, going back to the Moormans. I was informed of something that was incredibly humbling. I know for certain that this was not of me. But our bishop told me that she (Sister Moorman) told him the reason she asked us to come over was because I was the first missionary to actually talk to her like she was a human. Now please know that I'm not saying this to brag, but rather to help you realize what kind of effect a kind word can have on someone. A family is going to be together forever because I had a conversation with someone. I cannot begin to tell you how sobering that is. I urge you to remember that you can affect so much with a small act of kindness. You may not always see the fruits of your labors, but it will always be worth it.
Love y'all,
Elder M. Wright
P.S. We got to see an advance screening of Meet the Mormon's. I cried. It was fantastic. Please watch it.

Also, it was Scott's bday. He's old! Happy Birthday Brother!
