Life as a Dad

Monday, September 15, 2014

Hello World,
You would not believe what training is like. It's so much fun. It's like re-living the beginning of your mission all over again. Poor Elder Lawrence fell asleep in a member's car on the way to a lesson. It's so hard to adjust to it all. But I will say he's doing remarkably well. This week was full of adventures, and he handled them all very well. But first: an inspired packet from Taco Bell:

Yes friends and neighbors, he is green. But it's all good. He brings a special testimony that many people can relate with and its fantastic. This week we had a lot of fun and got Skylar Moorman back on track for baptism. Her Dad will be ordained next week, and she will be baptized on the 27th. Oh yeah. Also, she has received all the lessons and passed her interview. Woot woot.
This just in! Elder Smith had an accident while washing ties:

Jk! I sprayed him with the hose on the sink and then took a picture. HAH. I win.
Another really awesome thing that happened this past week was that Sister Jole Lacey and Lacey Smith from Kingwood came and took us out to lunch. I think the best part was telling them that the only places to eat were "James Brown Gumbo House" or "Wright's BBQ." To which Lacey replied "You mean there's no Chick-Fil-A?" So great. And so great to see them. Here's a picture:

And of course they brought us a gift. And one of the items in there was Bubble Bath soap. So here's pictures of Elder Lawrence in a bubble bath.

Love y'all!
Elder M. Wright
