I HAD A BABY!

Wednesday, September 3, 2014

Hello World,
Well dang it has been a CRAZY week. We have three investigators with a date right now. One of them is Skylar Moorman (haha). A ten year old of a part member family and she's so great, totally willing and ready, and we're reactivating her Dad as well. This to me is a testimony of her mother's love for the Savior. Her mother has been faithful for years and comes every Sunday and even though it's been hard, she has persevered. And now it is paying off. The Lord has blessed her and she and her husband are working towards a temple marriage. Oh yeah, talk about a happy day.
Also Sterlin and Britni are getting close to their date. It is so choice. Gotta love it. SO...this week in my arteries there's something clogging it:

These are called Redneck Nachos. Holy Hannah are they delicious. Mmm...I just want to eat them for the rest of my life. Which if I did that, I'd get fat and die real fast. So there wouldn't be time to get sick of them right? Plus another  benefit of being overweight:

So also this week was transfers. I was sad to see Elder Huff leave. We had a lot of fun and we both learned so much. It was just fantastic. So here's to you Elder Huff. Keep being you:

Now, I am still in Vidor but, I had a baby! Which is mission lingo for I'm training a brand new missionary from the MTC. His name is Elder Lawrence from Spanish Fork, Utah. He's pretty chill. So far everyone just tells him that I'm crazy and entertaining, so I have no idea what he thinks of me. Oh well. Should be a good two transfers.
And in the pictures you'll see some dear friends of mine. Two of them went home this transfer and it was odd. They were surprisingly inspiring to me. I learned so much from them and they will be missed dearly. Remember to love your friends continuously. Not just when you first meet them. They need it and so do you.
So that's this week. Hope y'all feel the love. Cause...
Love y'all,
Mean it.
Elder M. Wright

This is Sister Larsen. She went home yesterday. She's pretty great. Lovely singing voice.

And this is Hermana Salcido. She was with me in Baytown and she also went home yesterday. She is also pretty great and has a lovely singing voice too.

And this was my Zone.

LOOK AT THIS SUNSET!
