This week. This week was slow as far as the work is concerned, considering that almost all of our appointments cancelled. So that's fun. Gotta love the work. Makes things fun. Also, one of our investigators got injured at work. But hey, that means he can't use work as an excuse to not come to church. Blessing in disguise? I think so.
This week I discovered something. I have a passion for mowing lawns with a zero point mower. They are just fantastic. How did I not know that there was something so peaceful as that?
On that same day I also learned that my legs haven't seen sun in a while.
Let's see. Also, we had a ward pioneer day celebration. So Elder Huff and I had a go at the stick pull.
And guess who won:
Thats right...Elder Wright!
Also, we gave talks in sacrament meeting yesterday, and they asked me NOT to speak on missionary work. So naturally I went the opposite direction and spoke on eternal marriage. There was a talk by Richard G. Scott that I based it all on called The Blessings of Eternal Marriage. I highly recommend you read it. Even if you're not married. It talks about dating and family too.
So yeah, I hope y'all are well and that you continue to be well. I know this work is marvelous and I see miracles daily. So can you.
Love y'all,
Elder M. Wright
Here's the Horton's twin girls (from last week's post) stick pulling
