Everyone Needs A Little Change

Hello World,
Couple of great redneck quotes from this week:
"A helium nosed person better stay out of a rainstorm"
"Elder Jensen, be humble and don't stumble"
"Elder Wright, walk tall and don't fall"
These were said by Brother Cobert, the same man that said "Hearing them call me grandpa is better than a ride in a new pickup truck."
He's pretty great.
So. This week, we revamped our area. Basically just started over because we were stuck in a rut. So moral of the story, change is very good. Especially in missionary work. It's easy to forget how important you are. Remember you're a child of God and you have a very specific purpose on this earth. And I love you.
Lets see... Adventures this week...
OH! Our house got struck by lightning in a rainstorm yesterday! It was REALLY loud, and honestly scared the crap out of me. And it was really bright. But it's ok. All is well. Also I got a haircut and its REALLY SHORT. Oops...  Also I still love Duck Dynasty and every time I eat Boudain, I think of Phil.

So we went to this restaurant in Orange, Texas and there were a bunch of little nick-nacks but these were the good ones....

Basically this week was me and Elder Huff changing the area. We've made new goals for ourselves and re-instated the rule that you have to have fun at least once a day and have an adventure at least once a day.
Repentance is a grand thing. It means change. What a joyous occasion that we get to honestly change whenever we want because of Christ. Is that not a testament to our Father's love for us? Repentance always gets a negative connotation because it means we've sinned. But I prefer to think of how great it is that someone wants to do right and to change. I am privileged to see this almost daily. And I wish I could express the joy that people feel when they learn that they can be forgiven. That they can have a clean slate. So. As a missionary, it is my job to call people to repentance. So I invite all y'all to repent. You will be blessed.
Keep it real.
Love y'all.
Elder M. Wright
P.S. Funny story. We get chased by at least three dogs every day, and as much as I love dogs, they occasionally get too close and you have to kick them. But this week, one got in front of me and long story short, I kinda ran over a pit bull.....  Don't worry, he's fine. But we both kinda looked at each other like "wait... this isn't how it's supposed to go..."   So that was actually a pretty funny part of my week.
Love y'all!
