WARNING DONT LOOK IF YOU HAVE A WEAK STOMACH!
Hello World,
This week was an adventure. We had a mini-missionary from Broadway, named Warren Guahardo who was 16, out with us and it was really interesting. Kinda odd interacting with a non-missionary for an extended period of time. But we saw a lot of miracles because of it. We got a new investigator because of it. He's named Jacob and he's 17 and has two kids and wants a church that he can raise said children in. So that was fun. However, this week, on Thursday, I had the lovely opportunity to have ingrown toenails removed. And that now put me on an extended exchange with my district leader in Vidor 4th Ward. And that is the adventure of a life time. He likes to do cart wheels up to people's doors and steal investigator's lighters so they can't smoke. So it's an adventure. But hey, I get to wear flip-flops for two weeks. Also I found some cows.

Yes, that one is peeing in the background.
And Elder Huff decided to take some selfies while I was petting the cows.

Other than that, I hit a very interesting point in my mission when a ward member informed me that four of my favorite artists, one of which has been on hiatus since 2006, came out with new albums. And while this may sound pointless to you, it really made me remember what I came out here to do. These albums will have to wait a few months. But it was just very odd to me to realize that I wasn't listening to their albums, I was preaching the Gospel. What a concept. Changing someone's nature. I suppose that's what the point of this is. Sacrificing music so I can better serve the Lord.
Anywho, thank you for indulging me in that tangent. This work is marvelous even if it doesn't have good music in it. It's better than good music.
Love y'all,
Elder M. Wright
P.S. The next few emails will be pictures of toe surgery, so if you have a weak stomach, DON'T LOOK!

The giant q-tips kill the nail bedding so it doesn't grow back.

Getting bandaged up.

And this is them the day after. Welcome to the adventure ladies and gentlemen.

Love y'all
