Hello World,
I'm back in my area. I am sad to leave Elder Jensen and our shenanigans, but I am happy to be back in my area with Elder Huff.

One last little bit about Elder Jensen, he has this board for our district where he creates a character for each member and then writes their goals next to it. Without looking at the names, I bet you can't guess which ones mine:

Also, when we take naps, we don't get teddy bears. We just get Clorox wipes.

This is the life friends and neighbors.

Let's see... Two of our investigators, Chris and Jessica accepted baptism! And it all just kinda clicked with Jessica, that we have the whole truth. It was really kinda great. The joy is real. Also, we have a part member family that we're working with called the Moormans. Great right? And both of their kids came to church yesterday and are moving towards baptism on August 30th! So... talk about a happy day.

Adventure of the week: unfortunately, my camera was dead, but yesterday, we burnt down a forest. Now, before you call Smokey the Bear, it was on purpose. Our recent convert and her fiancé (not sure if it's official yet) bought a house that they're going to put on their parent's property. However, they have a grand total of three weeks to clear the woods around the house and level it and whatnot. So basically to make things move faster, we're in the process of lighting the whole thing on fire. Welcome to Vidor, Texas.

Also Redneck quote of the week: Sister Ellis talking about Japanese Anime "It's just a bunch of Japanese Dolly Partons! She bent over and you couldn't tell her behind from her bosom!" Yup! That's pretty much the people I talk to all day and I love them.

Hope y'all are doing well and continue to do well.
Love y'all,
Elder M. Wright

By-the-way...thanks for the toe care kit, Mom! Now I'll never have ugly feet again!

See! They're pretty! Well...as pretty as feet can get.......
