Rain, rain... Chill the Heck Out

Hello World,
So this week it rained for days. And I mean it RAINED. We found out after we had been riding around in it all day that we were actually on tornado watch. We do what we want.
One of the days it was raining, we went on exchanges with the zone leaders, so Elder Hooker came into my area. He's way legit, was in a band called The Arcadians, and so we basically biked around and harmonized hymns and primary songs all day. The rain was so bad that at one point, we actually had to lift our bikes over our heads and wade through a knee high heavy flowing stream. Pretty fun actually. Definitely an adventure. He changed into some of Elder Mitchell's pants when we got back and said "I'd like to look British." He went to the bathroom and I turned back around to him saying in a British Accent "look at these Nickers" and this is what I got:

Yes. We are going to be friends for a long time.
Also we helped Harriet clean out her garage and found a tutu that didn't fit so I wore it on my head. Observe:

Yup. The dignity of the calling is gone.
So this week brought a miracle. We had nothing happening all week and we didn't have dinner on Saturday, so we called this non-member family that we had contacted and had invited us for dinner whenever we didn't have one, and the first thing they said was "Hey, we're BBQ-ing tonight, y'all comming?" Naturally we said yes, and it was some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Chicken, braughts, hot dogs, I mean it was all good. And then we were able to teach them, and now they're new investigators. They seemed surprised that we could actually answer their questions and it was just really great. They're awesome people, and I look forward to working with them.
And then after that, we contacted a drunk guy, who gave us deer burgers, and talked to us for an hour. And even though he was drunk, we read Alma 7:11-12 and he teared up and asked us to come back when he was sober. He was honestly one of the funniest people I've ever met, and we look forward to meeting with him tonight.
So that's pretty much it... this week should be good though. We can feel it.
Always remember that Heavenly Father loves you. And wants to help you.
And that's all I have to say about that.
Love y'all,
Elder M. Wright
