Those who live in glass bottle houses........

Monday, June 23, 2014

HELLO WORLD,
This week was basically full of pictures cause there were adventures had at every corner. First of all, there's a glass bottle house in Vidor that this guy used to live in and that he built.  Then he died last year so now you can go walk through it if you know how to find it. It's straight up made out of glass bottles and soda cans. And he lived there. Here are some pictures:

Also, we had a last minute baptism of a child of record with a non member father! So Elder Huff baptized her and I confirmed her, and it was pretty fun. Not gonna lie. Her name is Emily Batey. She's pretty sweet. And I am so grateful to be a part of her baptism.
The greatest thing ever happened. I got new shoes FOR FREE. One of Elder Jensen's investigators gave them to him and said find someone who fits them and guess who had the small feet necessary for that charge. That's right. Elder Wright did. Check them. They look like boots, but they're not.  They're fakes so I can wear them out here. HAH. So great. They're pretty hip huh?

And lastly, the strangest thing happened yesterday. President and Sister Crawford came and said goodbye. It was very surreal. I feel a little like I've been orphaned. There were many tears shed. And I got to hug sister Crawford and I just want y'all to know that I am incredibly grateful for their service. I look forward to the new mission president. But please know that these people are very dear to me and I will love them and be grateful to them throughout the eternities. Please love them as well.
Love y'all
Elder M. Wright
P.S. I tried Boudin this week and it was delicious. I highly recommend it.
