So. After just two short transfers in Kingwood, I am getting transferred.
The Larsens:
So story time:
The drunk guy we contacted last week is now an investigator. He stayed up all night reading those verses, and has a desire to change his life. We met with him again, and he is so prepared. It is so great. And also Danielle and Brad had us over last night (Less Active and Non member). And we were able to bear powerful testimony of the Holy Ghost and Jesus Christ. It has been a great way to go out. I couldn't have asked for more.
I must say, I am definitely sad to go. I have made some friendships and learned so much here, that this city holds a special place in my heart. However, I have an overwhelming sense of peace. I know that I was called here for very specific and spiritual purposes and that now I have fulfilled those purposes and must move on. But my time in Kingwood is not over. I will be back after my mission, because I cannot and will not leave my friends behind. However, during these two transfers here, I have learned that God knows every single one of us and what we need and he loves us and will give us what we need. I know that the lessons I learned here I could not have learned from anyone else and that they will continue to effect me and my family for the rest of my life. I also know that the work I have done here will have far greater of an effect than what I can see right now. And for that I am gratefull. My heart is filled with love that I cannot express in writing, but I know that this love is pure and will continue to guide me. And I could not ask for a greater lesson.
So here's some pictures. Harriet made us rocks from her yard since we helped her re-do it.
Mine has Mumford on it:
