This week, I became a housewife:
I was helping the Smith's iron before they went out of town. So. Ladies. True housewife material right here.
In other news, nobody can say they've sweated till they've been working in Texas. We tore up an old deck this past week for an elderly ward member (crowbars yay!) and when we got home and had peeled our clothes off of our bodies, we hung them up to dry. And when we got back 8 hours later, THEY WERE STILL WET. Yeah. Gross. And manly.
IN OTHER NEWS:
We were blessed with two new investigators this week. One of them is a 17 year old named Athena, whom one of our dear members asked to take the discussions. She said yes and after getting signed consent from her mother, we had a wonderful first lesson, where we invited her to be baptized and she said yes. Party hardy friends. And then on Sunday, we met with a less active named Danielle, who wants to learn more and she's awesome, and her non member fiancé sat in and was interested so we told them to pray and are meeting with them again tonight. LET'S GET THEM TO CHURCH. Umhmm.
Other than that, not much has happened. The highlight might have been receiving the gift of a mini Book of Mormon.
Oh yeah. Pocket sized. Other than that, we just got rained on last night. And today. Apparently while we were riding around last night we were on tornado watch. So that's... safe. Oh well.
Amigos, this is pretty fantastic. I'm glad I get to share this with you. I see God's hand every day and it is a huge blessing. I encourage y'all to seek the Lord's hand in your life every day. You will find it.
Love y'all,
Elder M. Wright
