Tender Mercies

Howdy Friends and Neighbors,
Alright. Well. This week has been great.
On P-day last week, Elder Knudsen and Elder Hobbs took my iPad and took a picture.

So, do you remember Elder Price? Well we got to go on exchanges this past week and it was great! It was so great to see how much we've grown and changed. And also, we got to go see Mason our recent convert and give him a haircut! We're pretty boss at it right?

And then we took selfies at the end.

So. First Tender Mercy of the week is about these two lovely ladies right here!

Look! It's my two mothers! Mama Moore and Mama Wright! Long story short, with a late arrival at the LA temple for a surprise anniversary trip conveniently planned for the time my mom works at the temple, some of my two most favorite people in the entire universe met in the house of the Lord! How crazy is that? It's so insignificant, and yet, Heavenly Father loves both of them so much, he brought them together.

And now for my Tender Mercy. This past week, we went on exchanges with the Assistants to the President, which meant, I got to be with Elder Mitchell again! Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture, but let me just tell you about it. It was like coming home. We fit right back together, and we could both feel the power and strength that we still had after almost 18 months of not being companions. There was a brotherhood that reminded me of when Alma Jr and the sons of Mosiah are reunited in Alma 17
1-And now it came to pass that as Alma was journeying from the land of Gideon southward, away to the land of Manti, behold, to his astonishment, he met with the sons of Mosiah journeying towards the land of Zarahemla.
2-Now these sons of Mosiah were with Alma at the time the angel first appeared unto him; therefore Alma did rejoice exceedingly to see his brethren; and what added more to his joy, they were still his brethren in the Lord; yea, and they had waxed strong in the knowledge of the truth; for they were men of a sound understanding and they had searched the scriptures diligently, that they might know the word of God.
3-But this is not all; they had given themselves to much prayer, and fasting; therefore they had the spirit of prophecy, and the spirit of revelation, and when they taught, they taught with power and authority of God.

There's a special connection that comes from serving together. And being able to stand side by side with him again was something I will never forget. A lady asked us for our names and as I said, "I'm Elder Wright and this is Elder Mitchell", my heart leapt for joy. I absolutely loved it. I love this work. And...
Love y'all,
Elder M. Wright
