Howdy Friends and Neighbors,
This week went by REALLY FAST. First off, we had a lesson with one of our investigators and their 6 year old daughter, Taja was being loud and disruptive so I gave her my iPad to look at pictures and it totally made her quiet! But then I got on in the car and found these and other pictures.
This is how I look when I teach apparently. I had no idea but according to my eyebrows, I am the most intelligent man alive.
Also this week, while we were walking one morning with the hermanas, Hermana Crawford found this stray dog that was really sweet, and pretty cute, and since she followed us home, they bathed her, gave her some food and named her Felisha (ok, maybe I named her Felisha.) So, as I'm sure you can guess, they had a new best friend waiting for them when they came home every day. Pretty fantastic, except for the fact that we're not allowed to have pets, and since she was such a good dog, we began to find her a home. And their recent convert Jesus, was overjoyed to have her. He hasn't seen his family in a year and wanted a dog to keep him company. He was so happy to have her! Look how happy they are!
Also at the Gates on Thursday, they had puppies, so I tried to take a selfie with one while we were reading scriptures, and it wouldn't hold still.
So Elder Berry snapped this one afterwards.
And also during weekly planning. I found a tiny little lizard on the porch so I caught it and took a picture with it cause it was so cute and little.
So basically, this week went by WAY too fast. I don't even know what happened. But we were at the bishop's house last night and we were talking about sabbath day observance and how it's really more of an investment than we realize. Because time is more valuable than money, it only makes that according to D&C 59, some of the greatest blessings that we can receive will come by investing our time in the Lord. Just
something to think about.
I love y'all, I love this work. Y'all are the best.
Love y'all,
Elder M. Wright
