The Abuse Must End!

Howdy Friends and Neighbors,
Are you or a loved missionary being affected by abuse in either verbal or physical means? Well we have help. Call this number and we'll redirect you to Alma 26 and tell you to suck it up, because that's what being on a mission is all about.

In other news, this week we had exchanges with the Zone Leaders, Elder Bond and Elder Fata. I was with Elder Fata who is Samoan and from Redlands, California. We had a lot of fun. We have this program in our mission called "Spoke N' Pedal" where for two Saturday's a month we don't use our car from 10:00am-5:00pm. It makes it so we can contact more people, and is a very faith filled day. However, it's also a very sweat filled day. The heat index on Saturday was 109°. And I genuinely don't think I've ever sweat that much. I looked like I had been thrown in a pool. It was so much fun. We had the opportunity to talk to a guy who was singing in tongues when we rode up on him and he preached to us about the bible. And then we tried to give him a Book of Mormon, and he told us it was a fairy tale. Well. Thats two years of my life down the drain for a fairy tale then. Plus at the end, I'm pretty sure there's a princess charming waiting for me. So, I'm not too concerned about it. But here's the exchange pics:

A member gave us some modeling clay, and Elder Berry made this last night.

That's pretty much all I got. I love this gospel. I've been thinking a lot about what I'm doing. Sometimes I sit back and just think: what on earth am I doing? I'm on a mission right now. I have authority to declare repentance and I'm just a kid. But so often, I forget my age, and I just exist. I love this. I also love how comfortable it's made me learn to be with others. I feel totally comfortable going in to anyone's house and just sitting down like I've been there a thousand times. Never in my life will I ever have an opportunity like this. Never will I ever meet so many people just out of a pure love and desire for their salvation. It's fascinating.
Love y'all,
Elder M. Wright
