Howdy Friends and Neighbors,
So this week has basically been preparing Laura for baptism and marriage. Cause that has to happen first. And so they're going down to get their marriage license tomorrow and they're getting married on Saturday. And baptized. Dang. Busy week right? Should be fun.
One of the last preparations was helping Chris let go of his past. And by letting go, I mean burning it to the ground. This is his shirt that has a pot leaf on it.
And this was his shirt. It had to happen.
Laura is so cool. I can't wait for y'all to meet her. She has such a lively and joyous spirit about her, and she wants this. She walks away form every Sunday with a smile on her face. I am so lucky to have been able to teach her. She's taken hold of every part and I'm so proud of her. I can't wait to see her in the Celestial Kindom. Presumptuous? Not in the slightest. She's awesome.
Also some of our other investigators, Jorge and Amy had a baby! So that was cool, we went and saw them in the Hospital and it was great. It was a good step to make them want to get back into church and I'm super happy for them.
We also were able to have dinner this week at a members and there were pictures cause I let someone else have my camera.
This is Lucy.
Lave y'all,
Elder M. Wright
P.S. Ice cream!
Surprise! It was Elder Smith with the camera.
