Howdy Friends and Neighbors,
So check out how artistic I am.
Yeah, that's about as good as it gets. Houston skyline though. Very pretty.
Also trains,
I found a train yard in case you couldn't tell.
So this week I'll tell you about our investigator: Laura Gallop.
She was raised Southern Baptist, but didn't stick with it. She started dating a guy named Chris Booth who was a less active member of the LDS church. His brother is on a mission and put in their address on www.mormon.org and it got sent to our phone.
Now, he's stopped smoking, they're getting married, and she's getting baptized February 7th. That's pretty cool, huh? I think so. She's so cool and so full of joy. Sassy and yet totally humble and willing to do whatever it takes to be baptized. When we told her that her options, in order to get baptized were either move out or get married, she looked at Chris and said, "well Chris, when do you wanna get married?" He just kinda looked up and said "whenever?" And it was hilarious. It's a true testament to me that the Lord is preparing me to receive the gospel. Even Laura says so. She said her whole life has been leading up to this. It's pretty cool. So yeah. That's Chris and Laura.
Love y'all,
Elder M. Wright
P.S. I went on exchanges with Elder Leftwich and we helped some hermanas with service and we got to ride bikes with them. It was really weird.
