Eternal Families and What-Not

Hello World,
WOW. We saw miracles.
So this investigator that I've been talking about recently is named Cryslynn Young. She's 18 and is engaged to one of our members. And she is honestly one of my most favorite investigators because she is so sincere about her search for truth. And she has made the decision to be baptized on November 8th. I am so happy for her. She is such a blessing in my life.
SO also this week WE WENT TO THE TEMPLE WITH RACHEL AND SCOTT HORTON TO WATCH THEM GET SEALED. LOOK...AN ETERNAL FAMILY!

So yeah. That was pretty great. No, I did not cry! Ok, maybe a little. Or a lot. Whatever.
So basically that was awesome and that was our week. We prepared and prepared and worked to make sure that all will be well. Also, Sterlin and Britni have made their date for the 22nd and we're going over to see them tonight to keep them going.
I've been thinking a lot about how empathy effects our work. I have decided that if I commit one of our investigators to read and pray about the Book of Mormon, I am going to do it as well before the next lesson. If I want them to repent, I better make sure I'm repenting as well. And it has helped me love them more abundantly. It also makes it really hard whenever they don't keep commitments because it's just like... But I found time to do it... How come you couldn't? But it helps my own testimony grow. And you cannot light a fire in another's soul unless it is burning in your own. So work on your fire. Feed it wood. Gasoline flares for a second but the true fuel of scripture study and prayer is what will help it never go out. It's simple.
I love y'all very dearly.

And here's our district family photo in the Moore's boat.
