Hello World,
SHANNON GOT BAPTIZED.
Yup. She did. So world, meet Shannon:

And meet her again. Oh and Bishop Brown:

Shannon is way prepared, and already talking temple. I mean what a blessing to the world. She will be a light. AND, within a week of her decision to get baptized, she got a job AND a place to live. Does God bless you if you do what he asks? I think so.
This week has just been crazy. I don't even know where to start. The pictures kinda tell it all, but for this message, I'll tell you another miracle. You ready? K, good.
So two weeks ago, Elder N and Rice were on exchanges in our area, and knocked into this door, and when the guy answered it, he looked surprised and said "You have five minutes." They went in, shared the first two points, (God is our loving Heavenly Father and the Gospel blesses families) and at the end of the lesson, they looked at each other and said "You have no idea how much you need to come back." So we went back last Sunday and no one was there. We left a note, and had no response. And then, Elder Rice and I were on exchanges in my area, and the guy, pulled us off the side of the road as we were biking and as we talked to him he shared his side of the story: Him and his wife had been having a lot of marriage difficulties, and they finally decided to kneel down and pray, and as they knelt down, Elder N and Rice knocked on the door. It was about 2:30 in the afternoon, and as he opened the door, he said "All I saw was sunlight, and when I looked to see who it was, all I could see was "Jesus" on your nametag. And after the initial visit where you told us God wants us to have eternal families and marriages, our marriage has been better than it ever has been even when we were first married. And last night, we hit a wall. And this morning, I'm not supposed to be over on this side of town, and yet, I run into you." How many signs do you need. Well then he shared that the guy he was trying to go help still had a hundred miles before he ran out of gas. Apparently God really wants him to meet with us. So world, this is Cindy and Enrique. They have two kids, and we're going to ask them to be baptized this week. So there's the miracle of the week. I love this work and know that it is true. Thank you all for your love and support.
Love y'all,
Elder M. Wright

Elder N and my light up bikes. A great conversation starter.
Me and Elder Rice

We had to give a blessing at the hospital and "parked" in the clergy spot. Like a boss.

Some random guy from the DR we met on the street had like 8 feet of sugar cane and gave some to us and taught us how to peel it with our teeth and then eat it. As you can see.
