Howdy Friends and Neighbors,
This year I had my first white Christmas.
This is Mason and he got baptized on Saturday and confirmed a member of the church on Sunday. Best. Present. Ever. And his mother was so happy it was so great.
I also had a little Christmas with my companion. Here's our stockings that his mom sent us.
And here's me opening gifts.
Still a child.
This week I've been thinking a lot about fear. How fear influences so much of what a lot of people do. It's the root of stress and so many other things. And yet so many of us choose to live with it like some cancerous roommate that eats all of our food and doesn't clean up after himself. I dunno. It just seems to hold so many people back. So I've decided instead to focus on the opposite of fear: Faith. They cannot co-exist. So I'm going to see what I can do about my fears and overcome them through my faith. So yeah. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and I love y'all. Keep being dope.
Love y'all,
Elder M. Wright
The District at the baptism.
