Hello World,
Well. I've been transferred. I'm now serving IN Houston. Yes. This is the view from my back patio:
I live next to a freeway and an airport. Be jealous. The soothing sounds of the city.
This is my new companion Elder Price.
He's from Douchane, Utah, and is pretty chill. He's been out a transfer so I'm coming in to training him halfway cause his previous trainer was called to be a Zone Leader.
There are three wards in the zone and I am the District Leader over the only english one. And even still, half of our ward is Mexican. It's absolutely fantastic. For Thanksgiving this week, our investigator Marvin took us to Whataburger and then we had a really legit lesson at his place. It's great. I am really looking forward to the change.
I had the opportunity to give a talk on Sunday so I spoke on a talk by Jeffery R. Holland called "The Grandeur of God." I highly recommend reading it. But I just wanted to let y'all know that you are children of a loving and living Heavenly Father who knows you individually and will always look out for you. I have seen it time and time again, and I know that He will always answer your prayers.
And then I found this quote this week:
"If for a while, the harder you try, the harder it gets, take heart. So it has been with the best people who ever lived." -Jeffery R. Holland.
Be good, do good,
Love y'all,
Elder M. Wright
Some left-overs from Vidor and transfers.
This is Sister Allison. I love her.
And of course, the beard picture. A must.
