It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like....Fall

Howdy Friends and Neighbors,
So it's getting close to Christmas and it still feels like Fall. Thanks Texas.
So this week was pretty busy. We got to go to Baytown and have Christmas conference and that was fantastic. 8 hours of just Christmas joy. Here's a picture of the bagpipe guy that played for us.

Also we discovered that we could stick our GPS to our foreheads.

So yeah. Good times. Doesn't actually help while driving, but it makes for a good laugh.
So unfortunately those are the only pictures I have for this week. I will repent and change my ways. And by that, I mean I'll have more next week.
So this week the sisters had a baptism and as a District Leader I get to interview their convert. And I had done it in Vidor, but I was just reminded of how much fun it is. I only get to spend a little time with them, but it is so great to see people open up about what they've learned and how happy they are to share it with me. It's really fun. They truly do become as a little child: eager to share and happy about it. It's so fun.
Also at Christmas conference I got to see my past companions and it was so much fun to hear uplifting messages about Christ and His birth. It's so great to feel the spirit of 200 missionaries in a chapel. To hear them sing and to know that we are all united in our purpose. I dunno. I just love it. Too good.
That's pretty much all I've got for the week, but this week should be fun. OH WAIT, we have some investigators named Mason Brown and Laura Gallop. Mason is 15 and his mom is a member and he moved in with her and wants to be baptized. It's so cool! And he loves the youth.
And then Laura is dating a less active member and fell in love with church. It was so cool. They both have dates and it's going to be a good Christmas. Anywho.....
Love y'all,
Elder M. Wright
