Hello All,
So... Sadly this week's email will be short. I don't have any exciting stories or anything because my companion has been throwing up everything he eats for the past 6 days. All I did this week was sit in my apartment and study. So here's an insight I found that I loved:
Obedience brings blessings. Exact obedience brings miracles.
As we live the gospel, are we striving to follow the Savior, or are we trying to follow His example? We can listen to His teachings and attempt to act like Him, but are we following His intentions? As we go forward in life, we must try to develop Christ like characteristics to clearly understand His doctrine and His teachings. Remember that even to the soldiers who took Him away, beat Him, and so on, He re-attatched one of their ears. That is the type of love we must exude.
