Howdy Friends and Neighbors,
So. Man. I am so happy to be here in Tidwell. It's a semi-ghetto area, and there's only like four active members in my area, and two of them were baptized the week before I got here. So basically. It's fantastic. We just ride around talking to anyone and everyone and make as many Spongebob and Ferris Beuler references as possible. This week we found a guy who believes that Satan is good and God doesn't care and that we should pray to our dead ancestors. He hears his dead mother's voice guide him to things. Pretty interesting right?
We also got a referral from the Houston Mission of this guy named TJ Porter who has been meeting with missionaries for two years and wants to be baptized ASAP. So in two weeks, he'll be baptized.
We also have this part member family named the Garcia family, and the husband wants to get baptized really bad. So it's basically awesome. We're just working hard and love it.
I know that Heavenly Father knows exactly what we need. And will always provide. And I know that the more we obey, the more we are blessed.
I love this work. That is my short testimony this week.
Love y'all
Elder M. Wright

P.S. This is the beginning stages of our project for the Garcias. We're helping them build a deck.

Elder Allen had to get some dental work done.

So I took pictures.
