This week has been awesome. We've been working hard for the last little while and FINALLY it pays off. This week, we have five people with a baptismal date and four of those people attended a session of general conference! Remember Alontra and Mia and Jacob from last week? Well one of their friends was interested too and all four of them came to conference. They have a date that they're working towards of the 19th of April. It's so fun to teach them and one of them will get off topic and the other will tell them to "shut up" cause "we're trying to have a lesson." The oddest people are prepared for the gospel.
And then the other with a date is named Robin Walker. She is possibly the sweetest lady I have ever met. She lives about 20 miles away from us and is "just trying to find where God wants her."
I share this with you because I want you to learn what I have learned these past few weeks. That is that we are dealing with individual people, who love our Heavenly Father enough to be led. And I think about myself and how often I don't allow myself to be led by Him. I believe that I know better. And then I have a middle aged lady listening intently to what I'm saying because she recognizes it as being of God. How inadequate I am to carry this calling. Heavenly Father has trusted me with quite a bit and I need to be better with it. Because right now there are 5 people relying on my companion and me to lead them to the gate of baptism and essentially life eternal. What a blessing.
I love y'all.

P.S. I don't have but two pictures, but hey look Mom, remember how you said I could never have cinnamon bread? Well look at this.
Also, check this out. There was a Burbank, Montrose and Glendale all around each other. I wonder who settled it.
