Baptism By Rain

Howdy Friends and Neighbors,
Man, this has been a great week. It rained like all week, and our pool overflowed and there was water everywhere, so Elder McD and I ran around in the rain. Also he got a WICKED shot of lighting.

Pretty cool huh? Kinda a boss.
Let's see. Elantra, Tremya, and Latrice came to church this past week and loved it. And they're as enthusiastic as ever. We've started teaching them two at a time, so that they don't get distracted by one another. I love them so much. The greatest part is that they understand the doctrine! Who would have thought?
We also got some new investigators this past week, and they are all so great. They are so willing to listen and we look forward to seeing them this week.
We also went to the temple this week and I saw my DAD. Elder Nikolaus is back in the mission and fireyer than ever. Yes. That's a word. But he's super pumped to be back.
This past week I've been thinking about the "why" of missionary work. Why is every little thing so important? The more I think about it the more I realize that it's important because it's what Christ would do if He were ministering in this area Himself. It's a simple truth, yet it's so important to continually remind myself of, so that I am striving to be as Christ-like as possible. Cause that's what I'm doing here. Is inviting others to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ. So I must exhibit it myself.
